About
Hi, I’m Lucie B. St. Laurent—an internationally influenced photographer with a lifelong passion for storytelling and capturing beauty in all its forms.
I was born in the U.K. and raised between the United States and Belgium, with several years spent living in Karachi, Pakistan. Growing up across cultures shaped the way I see the world, and it continues to inspire my work today. Travel has been a constant in my life, and each experience, whether for work or leisure, has strengthened my ability to connect with people and create images that feel genuine, warm, and full of dimension.
I studied Sociology and Anthropology at Richmond College in London, followed by an MA in International Conflict Analysis from the University of Kent in Canterbury. While my academic path may seem unconventional for a photographer, it deeply informs my approach: I’m endlessly curious about people, their stories, and the moments that define them.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I draw inspiration from literature, music, design, and the everyday beauty that often goes unnoticed. What began as a hobby in my youth naturally grew into a career, for which I am grateful every single day.
Today, I specialize in creating images that feel elegant, timeless, and emotionally resonant. Whether I’m photographing families, children, or special seasonal moments, my goal is to create an experience that is comfortable, effortless, and truly enjoyable.
Outside of photography, I’m a mom of three wonderful children, the owner of two energetic dogs, and an avid equestrian. These parts of my life keep me grounded, inspired, and connected to the world around me.
I’m excited to capture meaningful moments for you and your loved ones, moments that you’ll look back on with warmth and joy for years to come.
In an age where everyone carries a camera, the world is full of snapshots. But true portraiture is something deeper - it is the difference between a picture and a piece of art.
